ETS, the global leader in educational assessment, hosted TOEFL Experience Days in Hyderabad, offering educators and advisors an early preview of the enhanced TOEFL iBT, set to launch on January 21, 2026.
The hands-on event brought together TOEFL experts, educators, and study-abroad partners. It focused on the new test format, improved scoring, and expanded preparation resources designed to support today’s learners.
Hyderabad is a key study-abroad hub in southern India. ETS currently operates two TOEFL iBT test centres in the city and plans to expand its network by the end of December 2025 to meet growing demand.
The enhanced TOEFL iBT introduces improved content, AI-powered scoring, and adaptive features that reflect real academic communication. These updates aim to deliver a fairer, more accurate testing experience.
Educators also received classroom-ready resources and official preparation tools, including TOEFL practice tests and guidance from ETS partners. The event strengthened collaboration among educators across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The upgraded TOEFL iBT will be available worldwide from January 21, 2026. More details are available at www.ets.org/toefl.
