BAJA’s Impact and Recognition
The Government of India has recognized BAJA SAEINDIA’s role in advancing clean and green technology. The top 10 teams from BAJA SAEINDIA 2025 will receive ₹10 lakh sponsorships to compete internationally, a testament to India’s growing footprint in global automotive innovation.
Mr. Aditya Vissam, Secretary, Sri Vishnu Educational Society, highlighted India’s position as the fourth-largest manufacturer of four-wheelers, reinforcing the need for skill-based competitions like BAJA to provide real-world engineering experience.
Recognizing Engineering Excellence
- Mr. Sivakumar Sudhachandran, Deputy GM at Autoliv India, was introduced as the Safety Ambassador.
- Ms. Deepti Singh was introduced as the Diversity Ambassador, with the goal of increasing female participation from 17% in 2024 to 35% in 2026.
- Mr. Parashuram Paka, Founder of Gravton Motors and a former BAJA participant, was named Startup Ambassador, inspiring future engineers to pursue entrepreneurial ventures in sustainable mobility.
