Digital Literacy Run 2025 at T-Works

Kriti Social Initiatives, in partnership with AMD, successfully organised the Digital Literacy Run 2025 at T-Works, Raidurgam, to promote digital inclusion and youth empowerment through technology.

The 3 km Walk/Run witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 1,000 people, including students, families, volunteers, AMD employees, and partner organisations. The event aimed to highlight the importance of digital literacy in today’s technology-driven world.

The Digital Literacy Run brought together communities to celebrate the impact of computer education and digital learning. It also reinforced the shared commitment of Kriti Social Initiatives and AMD to expand access to technology-based education.

Since 2009, Kriti Social Initiatives has been working in the areas of women’s skill development and children’s education. As part of its youth empowerment efforts, the organisation has introduced computer education and digital learning programmes in several government schools.

Over the past two years, AMD and Kriti Social Initiatives have jointly reached more than 10,000 beneficiaries through various education and digital literacy projects. The Digital Literacy Run further strengthened this mission by encouraging students and families to actively engage with the cause.

Highlighting the importance of the initiative, Sreelata Chebrol, Trustee, Kriti Social Initiatives, said that digital literacy is essential for equal opportunity. She noted that the run helped bring together multiple NGOs and beneficiaries to celebrate the value of digital skills.

Jaya Jagadish, SVP and Country Head, AMD India, said digital literacy is the foundation of inclusion and long-term empowerment. She added that STEM learning opens doors to opportunity and enables young people to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital economy.

Through the Digital Literacy Run 2025, Kriti Social Initiatives and AMD reaffirmed their commitment to building digitally empowered communities and creating equal access to education through technology.
