Damson Technologies, a key player in computer peripherals, mobile accessories, and lifestyle products, has unveiled a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The company plans a ₹200 crore investment over three phases to set up this advanced unit, supporting the ‘Make in India’ initiative. The investment includes ₹110 crore for the factory, ₹60 crore for machinery, and ₹30 crore for process development.

The new facility will serve as the central hub for manufacturing high-quality audio systems, such as TWS earbuds, personal audio devices, and home entertainment systems. It will focus on incorporating advanced technology and durability, meeting diverse market demands. By prioritizing local production, Damson Technologies will create jobs for around 500 individuals in the Ahmedabad region, contributing to local economic growth.

The facility will begin with six assembly lines, aiming for a monthly production of 3 lakh units. By the third phase, the plant will expand to 20 assembly lines, increasing capacity to 10 lakh units per month. As demand rises, Damson Technologies plans to gradually ramp up production to meet both domestic and international needs. The company’s revenue target for the next fiscal year is ₹500 crore.

Under the leadership of Ritesh Goenka, Managing Director, Damson Technologies is committed to technological innovation, allocating a $10 million R&D fund. The company plans to integrate cutting-edge features such as AI-powered products, app-based controls, and voice assistance into its offerings. This facility will also support a new gaming accessories segment, including gaming AirPods, headphones, and sports trackers, tapping into the growing demand for specialized products in India and abroad.

Expanding globally, the facility will help reduce import dependency and meet international demand in markets like the USA, UK, and UAE. By manufacturing locally, Damson Technologies aims to offer competitive pricing, support global expansion, and align with India’s goal of becoming a manufacturing hub.

With an anticipated 3-4% market share in mobile accessories and personal audio, the Ahmedabad facility is set to play a vital role in helping Damson Technologies reach its ₹500 crore revenue target in the coming year.
