byteXL, one of India’s fastest-growing edtech companies in engineering education, has announced the launch of HacXLerate, its flagship national hackathon aimed at bringing together engineering students from across the country to solve real-world challenges using emerging technologies.
The hackathon is powered by Qwipo, OneCompiler, and Vahan Bazar and will offer students a unique opportunity to:

A Unique Three-Stage Hackathon Experience
HacXLerate will unfold in three stages, offering a comprehensive learning and development experience:
Stage 1: Virtual Round (September 27–28, 2025)
Teams will participate in a 36-hour virtual event where they will submit prototypes and demo videos.
Stage 2: Onsite Round (October 10, 2025)
Shortlisted teams will meet in Hyderabad and develop advanced solutions on Nimbus, byteXL’s proprietary learning platform, with mentorship from partner companies.
Stage 3: Grand Finale (October 11, 2025)
Finalists will pitch their solutions to a distinguished jury in Hyderabad and compete for a ₹1.75 lakh prize pool:
- ₹1,00,000 for the 1st prize
- ₹50,000 for the 2nd prize
- ₹25,000 for the 3rd prize
