The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FTCCI) hosted an awareness program on three key employment initiatives — the Employee Linked Scheme (ELI), SPREE 2025, and the Amnesty Scheme 2025 — at its Red Hills office. The goal was to help businesses understand these new policies and apply them with ease.
Strengthening Formal Employment
In his opening remarks, Mr. Ravi Kumar, President of FTCCI, said the Government recently launched these schemes to boost formal employment and ensure employee welfare.
The ELI Scheme, SPREE 2025 (Scheme for Promotion of Registration of Employers and Employees), and the Amnesty Scheme 2025 encourage organisations to register their workers, fulfil past compliance gaps, and benefit from amnesty provisions.
He noted that in today’s fast-changing business world, awareness is essential. Employers and HR professionals must clearly understand how to use these schemes to remain compliant and benefit from available incentives.
Experts Share Key Insights
Senior officials from the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) and the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), along with industry experts, helped explain the schemes in simple terms.
Speakers included Sri J. Srinivas, Regional PF Commissioner-II (Retd.); Sri Rajiv Lal, Regional Director, ESIC; Sri Mahesh Narala and Sri Patras Gregory Kalkho, Deputy Directors, ESIC; Sri Ramachandra Rao S.V., Advisor, HR & IR Committee and Managing Director, HR Chambers Outsourcing Pvt. Ltd.; and Sri K.K. Maheshwari, Senior Vice President, FTCCI.
They discussed the objectives, benefits, and compliance requirements of each initiative. Moreover, they explained how these measures promote transparency, strengthen employee protection, and simplify employer responsibilities.
The interactive Q&A session allowed participants to raise specific concerns. As a result, attendees left with practical knowledge to apply within their organisations.
FTCCI Bridging Policy and Practice
The event reaffirmed FTCCI’s commitment to acting as a bridge between government and industry. Through such programs, the chamber ensures that policies are not only introduced but also understood, implemented, and beneficial to all stakeholders.
By combining policy awareness with practical guidance, FTCCI continues to empower businesses across Telangana. The organisation remains dedicated to helping industries grow responsibly, with compliance and employee welfare at the core.
