Asia’s biggest exhibition on metal forming and manufacturing technologies IMTEX Forming 2026 — will be held from 21 to 25 January 2026 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru. Organised by the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA), this edition will bring together 600+ exhibitors from 20 countries across 46,000 sq. metres of exhibition space.

Industry Insights
Ms. Mohini Kelkar, President, IMTMA, highlighted the growth outlook:
“Metal forming accounts for 29% of India’s machine tool market and is poised for measurable growth. In FY25, consumption touched ₹9,139 crore, with production at ₹2,696 crore. Exports grew 6% YoY, driven primarily by presses, press brakes, bending and shearing machines.”

“We see strong adoption of laser-based applications and advanced technologies. IMTEX Forming 2026 will showcase fibre laser machines, servo presses, precision levellers, machine monitoring systems, welding solutions, and 3D printing innovations.
