APTA KATALYST: Telugu NRIs Driving Global Business

The upcoming APTA KATALYST—Global Business Conference 2025 is set to bring the Telugu diaspora’s entrepreneurial spirit to the forefront. This highly anticipated event, the biggest ever Telugu NRIs Global Business Conference, will be held from January 3 to 5 at HITEX Exhibition Center, Hyderabad. With the theme “Connect, Collaborate, and Create,” the conference aims to inspire, network, and enable groundbreaking collaborations among over 1,000 entrepreneurs from ten countries.

This landmark event has been conceptualized by the American Progressive Telugu Association (APTA), a non-profit organization that has been empowering Telugu people across the globe since 2008. Over the years, APTA has supported 1,600 students through scholarships worth ₹14 crore and expanded its business forums to encompass 800 entrepreneurs.

The conference will kick off on January 3 with a grand banquet night graced by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu. Over the following two days, the event will host business conferences with Telangana Chief Minister Mr. Revanth Reddy attending the evening session on January 4 and celebrated film star Megastar Chiranjeevi closing the event on January 5.

APTA’s Business Forum Chair Mr. Ramesh Thumu highlighted that their pre-conference events in Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Amaravati, and Visakhapatnam have already resulted in business transactions worth ₹400 crore. The goal is to pave the way for long-term collaborations and business deals worth over ₹5 lakh crore.

He stated, “American businesses cannot run without H1B visa holders. We, Telugu entrepreneurs, are the oil and grease for these businesses.”
