His Excellency ONO Keiichi, Ambassador of Japan to India, visited the Na Ra JAPAN HUB (NRJH) at Asian Suncity, Kondapur. He was joined by senior officials from the Embassy of Japan in New Delhi — Mr. KODERA Jiro, Counsellor, and Mr. WATANABE Makoto, First Secretary.
Warm Welcome and Interaction
The Ambassador and his team were welcomed by Mr. and Mrs. Rama Bhadra, founders of NRJH, along with several dignitaries. During the visit, the Hub team explained their activities, cultural programs, and ongoing initiatives.
Strengthening India–Japan Relations

In his remarks, Ambassador ONO highlighted that India and Japan share common values and a long-standing friendship.
He thanked NRJH for its continuous efforts in:
- Promoting Japanese language education
- Offering training in Japanese techniques for productivity improvement
- Supporting sister-city relationships
- Creating opportunities for higher education in Japan
He also appreciated the cultural displays at the centre, which included Ikebana, Bonsai, Origami, dolls, and traditional Japanese artifacts.
Looking Ahead: 75 Years of Diplomatic Ties
Ambassador ONO noted that 2027 will mark 75 years of Indo–Japanese diplomatic relations. He invited Na Ra JAPAN HUB to participate in the upcoming celebrations and to contribute to strengthening mutual understanding between the two nations.
