AI-Based Pharma Healthcare IT Hub Announcement at 73rd Indian Pharmaceutical Congress

The 73rd Indian Pharmaceutical Congress was started at Hitex Exhibition Centre by lighting the lamp by Chief Guest Hon. Deputy chief Minister Sri Batti Vikramarka, Sri D Sridhar Babu, Minister for IT, Sti Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy, Dr B Parthasarathi Reddy, Chairman of Indian Pharmaceutical Congress, & Chairman, Hetero Group, Dr T. V Narayana, President, Indian Pharmaceutical Association and Secretary of IPCA, Dr Gedela Srinubabu, CEO, Pulsus Group.

Dr. T.V. Narayana presented the IPCA report. Dr B Parthasarathi Reddy, in his address, mentioned that this IPC provides innovative solutions for healthcare challenges, and students are the future of global pharma and the healthcare sector in improving health outcomes. Today, Telangana alone is exporting 35% of pharma supplies to the whole world.

Dr. Gedela Srinubabu, CEO, Pulses Group has said about the establishment of a sAI based pharma and life sciences kill development campus (SDC) at Ameenpur, Sanga Reddy, Telangana State supported by Government of Telangana, and Government of India through STPI. He expresses his happiness that, this SDC will offer over 10000 direct and 40000 indirect jobs to the public.

In his address, Sri D Sridhar Babu, Minister for IT&C, Industry and Commerce, reiterated that the current congress theme is more apt and befitting meeting the global health care needs. The current technological, innovative IT and AI will address global health care challenges. He also said that the Government of Telangana has set 200 acres for the Skill Development University, Digital University, Life Sciences University and Pharma University.

Sri Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy Garu in his address mentioned that the Telangana Government is keen on bringing up more super speciality hospitals to cater the down trodden and poor through Raji Arogyasri Scheme.

The Chief Guest of the function, Sri Batti Vikramarka, has said that the Pharmacist is the First point of Contact in the health care system and ensures supply of high-quality essential medicines to eradicate various ailments. In his speech, he praised the Hyderabad for the world class Biryani and for medicines, vaccines and biophores. He expressed his happiness over the current exports of medicines from Telangana and said that the Telangana will achieve the mark of 1 lakh crore worth medicines exports in next 5 years.

73rd Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC) is attended by 8500 delegates, Dr. Krishna Ella, Chairman, Bharat Biotech, and CEOs of various Pharmaceutical Industries, Dr Montu Kumar Patel, President, Pharmacy Council of India, Dr Rajeev Raghuvamshi, Drugs Control General of India (DCGI) Eshwar Reddy, Dr A Ram Kishan, Dr. Milind Umekar, President, Association of Pharmacy Teachers of India (APTI), Mr. HL Nasa, IHPA, Mr. Jagannath Shinde, President, All India Organisation for Chemists and Druggists (AIOCD), Dr Rao Vadlamudi, Immediate Past President, Commonwealth Pharmacists Association.

There are 75 sessions organised covering various fields of pharmaceutical sciences and Pharmacy Practice and 12500 acidaemia and industrial processionals attended the meeting.
