Encore-Alcom, a company based in Hyderabad specializing in the production of aluminum doors and windows, has unveiled plans to establish a cutting-edge manufacturing unit in Surat, Gujarat, with an investment of Rs. 60 crore. Spanning 1.8 lakh square feet, this groundbreaking facility will be India’s first to incorporate an auto robotic system for the production of aluminum doors and windows, employing advanced German technology. Expected to be operational by March this year, the plant will boast a daily manufacturing capacity of 30,000 square feet and will be the largest of its kind in the country.
Founder & Chairman, Siva Koti Reddy, highlighted that the facility would not only be a leader in terms of area but also contribute to job creation, providing employment opportunities for 180 individuals. Encore-Alcom already operates a 60,000 sq. ft. plant in Surat, producing architectural products tailored to customer specifications and surpassing competitors in quality. With 60 companies as clients, the company is set to expand its presence with the introduction of Encore brand aluminum doors and windows in South India.
In addition to the Surat plant, Encore-Alcom is establishing a new 27,000-square-feet fabrication unit in Mokila, near Hyderabad, set to commence operations by March. This unit, which will create jobs for 180 people, will also feature a 10,000-square-feet experience center. The company operates under the Encore brand in South India and the Alcom brand in the North, with plans to introduce Encore brand aluminum doors and windows in the southern region after the Surat plant becomes operational.
Furthermore, the company will showcase its innovative technologies and products at the upcoming ACETECH Trade Fair at Hitex in Hyderabad from January 19. Among the highlights will be an 18-feet tall window weighing 1.8 tonnes, providing a glimpse into the advanced and impressive offerings from Encore-Alcom in the architectural products industry.
