The Golden Tusk, a luxury experiential resort at the edge of Jim Corbett National Park, has unveiled the newly revamped Golden Forest Restaurant. Known for its soulful ambience and flavourful cuisine, the restaurant now blends local Kumaoni heritage, forest-inspired design, and immersive dining experiences in a refreshing new format.
A Design That Brings Nature Indoors
Spread over a larger space with an added 350 sq. ft., the redesigned Golden Forest offers guests a blend of comfort and wilderness. The restaurant’s open-air deck provides sweeping forest views, while its interiors showcase earthy tones, high ceilings, and natural textures that mirror the surrounding landscape.
The Golden Tusk Journey
The expanded menu features an exciting mix of Kumaoni, Indian, Oriental, and Continental cuisines. Guests can now experience a dedicated Kumaoni corner, offering authentic dishes such as:
- Aloo Gutke
- Bhatt ki Churkani
- Kaapa
- Bhang ki Chutney
- Jhangore ki Kheer
Alongside these regional delights, the restaurant also introduces live Indian street food stations, chef’s specials, and daily rotating menus crafted around seasonal produce.
Dining Beyond the Plate
According to Anirudh Lakhotia, Director at Ivory Destinations, “With the revamped Golden Forest, we wanted to go beyond dining and create a space that reflects local heritage while offering world-class culinary experiences. Every meal here tells a story — one that celebrates Corbett’s spirit and Kumaoni culture.”
Signature Dining Experiences at The Golden Tusk

Beyond The Golden Forest, guests at The Golden Tusk can enjoy several unique dining experiences:
- The Jungle Grill: An open-air BBQ surrounded by forest sounds.
- Water Dining: A signature experience where guests dine in shallow or knee-deep water.
- The Gin Tree: A lively bar and lounge for relaxing evenings.
- Private Dining: Romantic, custom-curated setups for special occasions.
Soon, the resort will also launch Chef’s Table dinners, farm-to-fork menus, and open-air grills under the stars — offering new ways to connect food with storytelling and nature.
More Than a Meal: An Immersive Corbett Experience
The Golden Tusk extends its philosophy of experiential travel beyond food. Guests can enjoy wildlife safaris, riverside walks, outdoor adventures, and wellness programs that reconnect them with the wild beauty of Corbett.
Spanning 10 acres of lush greenery, the resort features 68 luxury villas and suites, two pools, a spa, games room, and family-friendly spaces — all designed to merge comfort with sustainability.
